All Hallows Eve 2

(2015)***1/2

One must for me in Horrorthon is to watch at least one film that is centered around Halloween, I was delighted to find All Hallows Eve had made a sequel. This film like it's predecessor is an anthology collection, it opens with a woman alone in her apartment waiting for her boyfriend to call. Her phone rings but it's her friend instead, she goes to the window and looks out only to see a creepy dude with a mask made from a pumpkin looking up at her from the street. A few moments later she hears a knock on her door, she opens it only to see pumpkin face at the bottom of her stairs and a VHS tape on her doorstep. She locks her door and pops the tape in thus beginning the sequence of shorts. There are 8 shorts in all and as anthologies go some are better than others but all are quick in length and truthfully none of them were what I would class as bad. Some of the stories are quite original as well. If I have a complaint at all it would be the segway to the next story or lack there of is more accurate. Fun and entertaining and well, it's Halloween!

Holy crap eight stories? Is that the record? Are we keeping count?

Yes, it's me! My computer should be coming back to me soon and I've watched some horror and I'm really sorry I've been such a ghost (intended) so I dug around in my storage shed to find a power cord that worked on my old MacBook, the battery for which has a permanent X through it. I'll have to provide some screen caps later, it's really weird using this old Safari interface. There's a separate field for Google searches, up in the right! Remember?

I watched one the other day that was 10 stories (that mostly sucked). I love anthology and I just saw that there is a part 3!

Skip part 3 at all cost! I watched it last night and it's unwatchable on every level!

Hi Octo! It'll be great to have you back in the mix!
Cool, Catfreeek, I don't usually like anthologies but 8 decent shorts could be doable.
Ugh, JPX, sorry you suffered through part 3, but thanks for the warning!

Sounds delightful! I can only imagine what the pumpkin mask must look like! I hope it gets nastier and creepier as the stories go on!

Like the warning, JPX!
I dig anthologies, is this on Netflix?
