First rule of Horrorthon is: watch horror movies. Second rule of Horrorthon is: write about it. Warn us. Tempt us. The one who watches the most movies in 31 days wins. There is no prize.

It's time for "Best Ofs!"
At the end of the Horrorthon every year, we all sound off on various milestones of the year's movies. Traditionally we've waited until all the reviews are in before anyone posts theirs, but this year I think it'll be better if each person does so once they're finished writing. SOMEBODY didn't finish his reviews until December 13th last year, and after the bummer of that wait I figure we should just change how we do it. (I say this knowing I'm probably the one sitting on the most unwritten reviews.)
The categories are:
1. Favorite
2. Hidden gem award (and unexpectedly good flick)
3. Most Disturbing
4. Scream Queen (or Scream King (Scream Stud?) for the ladies -- in the interest of parity I'll be naming one of each)
5. Worst
6. So Bad It's Good Award
7. Goriest
8. Most memorable death
9. Best-looking monster
10. Scariest
Plus any other damn thing you feel like observing. It was an excellent, excellent batch of people at our strange party this year. Can't wait to hear your faves.
Oh, and don't be put off if you think you haven't watched enough entries. In 2005 I'mnotMarc did his Best Of after seeing only 3 movies.

I'd like to add a few more,
Movie you wished you watched from another Horrorthonner's list.
Movie you're glad you didn't watch from another Horrorthonner's list.
I have nothing to add yet, except to say that close up picture of Julie's pumpkin is AMAZING! Really, really beautiful.
