Three days to Horrorthon, people! Whoop!
Yo yo yo! How is your Monday going? Sorry I haven't been doing my usual pre-Thon ten day countdown, but I needed to complete the masterpiece you see above and mail it to my friends who are attending Brickcon, the West Coast's largest Lego convention. It's in Seattle.
Anyway, that's all done and I can focus on the important things, like SCARY SHIT. Anyone got any themes in mind? Things you want to cover? Real life situations that will get in your way? DISCUSS.

I for one had a tidal wave of Real Life hit me last year, and I was stressed enough I pretty much just watched relaxing kaiju movies, (which started Zack on his kaiju obsession). I definitely plan to revisit some of that because I want to talk about it.
Woot, Horrorthon! I don't have a game plan but I definitely like to catch out on Horror that came out over the past year...
How can you mail a lego creation without it falling to pieces? Are you sure you've thought this through?
I am more prepared for Horrorthon this year than I was last. I don't have a theme but I do have a pile ready! Can't wait to dive in!
No theme, but a few picks I'm excited to view. Will have to go for quality of experience rather than quantity this year due to the aforementioned and pesky real life. My subgoal is to read every post, even if I don't always comment.
Any newbies joining this year?
Yeah Octopunk, how in the world will that get through the mail? As is, or in chunks? Either way good luck with the transport!
I want to tap into the 80's slasher gold I missed out on and still haven't gotten around to watching. I will have to get pretty good with juggling as I've also decided to start grad school this year, all the while teaching six classes filled with 12-14 year olds!
Oooh! Me! I'm a reluctant newbie! Maybe. Kind of. Scary movies...well...scare the beejeezus out of me. "Don't pee your pants" will be my goal for each movie. You know. Like a professional.
Octopunk - WOW. I just LOVE it! It's beautiful. I love the fluid movement, and implied depth contrasted with the height of the snake-creature, and am curious about the story it's telling. So well done. (I'm guessing The Kragle secured the piece for shipment?)
And CM - holy moly! That's INSANEly amazing ! Geez, that's a lot to juggle! I'm inspired.
7of9 you can join the "Biddy" club with me and AC. The others are very helpful in telling us, through their reviews, which movies are too unsettling. Although we do branch out occasionally!
Thanks, DCD! The "Biddy" club sounds like the place for me! Hope the hazing isn't TOO bad. Either way, I'm in!
I haven't had time to prepare a damn thing because JSP and Crystal lured my baby boy to the land of sunshine and lollipops and I've been spending all my time helping him prepare for the move. I'll have to pull it all together in one night, but if the ghost of Christmas past could do it for Scrooge I'm sure I can do it in the name of Horrorthon!
