'Space Station 76' Trailer: See Space as Imagined Four Decades Ago
From iwatchstuff, Now nearly 20 years since spoofing Slim Goodbody on Conan, Jack Plotnick returns to weirdly-specific, left-field '70s parody with Space Station 76. Patrick Wilson, Liv Tyler, Matthew Bomer, Jerry O'Connell, and Marisa Coughlan star in the comedy, which imagines a future as imagined in the age of disco and key parties, and EW has put up the trailer. I can't tell if this Ron Burgundy in Space shtick is funny or not, but I LOVE the production design, pulling as it does from Space: 1999 and it's brethren. So I'm in.
I had similar feelings while watching the trailer. They nailed 70s sci-fi but I'm not certain that it will be all that funny...
