I know it's Hollywood and they can make anything look like anything, but I feel like this is bringing old Star Wars to the big screen to a whole new level. The Star Destroyer is freaking WHITE, just like in 1977, and there's the Yavin 4 base, right there. Killer. I was waving this in my coworkers' faces all day yesterday. I heard "feels like the prequel we should have gotten" more than once.
I distinctly recall NOT feeling this way when people were getting excited about seeing the Lars farm for Ep 2.
Yes, there is much to be encouraged about in this trailer! AT ATs! Old school stormtroopers and star destroyers! Gritty, Saving Private Ryan-type attacks! Royal guards!...
