First of all if you saw a man break your gun in half with your bare hands I think you would be more focused on this extraordinary event rather than on your broken gun. Instead of, “Y-you busted my gun” wouldn’t, “OMG, how could you possible do that because that’s not possible unless you’re a superhero!”

Second, what the hell is Peter doing? He needs a ride home but instead of saying to the guy, “Because you tried to steal my wallet you’re going to drive me to my destination. You’ve seen what I’m capable of” he tosses the guy’s keys away rendering the car useless (!)?

Also, as soon as Peter leaves the bad guy will just hot wire the car – bad guys can do that stuff.

I love it. Peter looks quite pleased with himself in the first panel.

I feel compelled to share a quote on today's strip from The Comics Curmudgeon:

"Today’s strip made me laugh because of how devastated our ne’er-do-well is at the prospect of spending a few minutes looking for his keys in a roadside ditch. I’m thinking if you threaten someone with a gun and he turns out to have superhuman strength, this is probably one of the better possible outcomes?"

Yeah! Why couldn't the panel been drawn from a pov way out over a body of water, thrown keys in foreground and car way back there? Or if you have to stick with the bird's eye view, maybe don't draw the far border of the stream so it appears like, dare I say, a POND?

Hysterical and so very true!

I can't stop giggling at that drawing of Peter. He looks as if he's lost in a glorious daydream about himself.
