Daily Spider-Man: Buying the graham cracker gun just costs you in the long run
I mock because I must, but actually this is a pretty cool pair of panels. I expected at least one day of Peter dithering about his secret identity before he did anything, so I'm impressed by this quick call to action (JPX was right!).
Foiling your own mugger is the superhero fantasy, right? And such great 70's street dialogue for just two panels, like the mugger's enthusiastic "Yeah!" and "Sorry, man." Heh.

If I wrote the strip I would have Peter steal the car in an act of irony.
You're right, everything about this strip still feels very 70's. I like the artwork a lot.
Now how in the world is Pete going to get home, any guesses?
So are we to believe that had the man said "please" then Peter would have just given him his wallet?
Good call JPX. I would have given the guy a public atomic wedgie and then run him over with his own car.
