Crank out the Ibuprofen. Harrison Ford has replaced Bruce Willis in the third edition of the creaky-but-still-kicking action adventure franchiseExpendables.
Franchise creator and star Sylvester Stallone tweeted the news on Tuesday: "WILLIS OUT... HARRISON FORD IN !!!! GREAT NEWS !!!!! Been waiting years for this!!!!"
Expendables 3 is due out Nov. 15, 2014. Lionsgate Studios, which puts out the money-generating franchise, would not comment on Stallone's casting news. Harrison Ford's press representative confirmed Ford's inclusion in the film.
Expendables 2, released August 2012, starred a host of 80s action stars like Stallone, Willis, Dolph Lundgren and Jean-Claude Van Damme. It took in $300 million worldwide with a barrage of explosions, one-liners and reviews featuring Viagra jokes.
Expendables 3 features Jackie Chan, Wesley Snipes, Nicolas Cage and Milla Jovovich. Production begins in mid-August and Patrick Hughes will direct.

Great to hear Harrison Ford is in but why is it "great news" that Bruce Willis is out?
