In October 1977 I made myself an R2-D2 Halloween costume (for one of those parties where you all go trick-or-treating together). It turned out all right (not as well as I wanted; I finally just abandoned the dome part, but the rest was pretty good).
I may still have it somewhere, but I don't think so.
Um, we need a picture post haste.
I was very little back then.
