wow, this might be the laziest "effort" thus far.
"Anyone gazing seaward tonight from San Francisco sees an amazing sight. And if you can't figure out what it is, we don't have time to explain it!"
This might be my new favorite daily strip yet. I love it how it insults the intelligence of the reader so openly. By merely suggesting that you can't comprehend what they're referring to in the first sentence is a gross insult. It's like saying "If you can't figure out what we're talking about, then I don't know what to tell ya, you're f'in stupid."
The arrogance on display here... Look how far away the city is! Nobody's gonna see six heads bobbing in the water, regardless if two of them are red. And what's so amazing about it?
While trying to get over my outrage with the single panel strip (shaking fist in air yelling "Leeeeeeee") I couldn't help but notice that Spider-Man is doing all the grunt work while DD seems to be taking a leisurely swim.
