I have only been rickrolled once by my boss at work but it didn't have the desired effect because -- yes, I'm going there -- I love Rick Astley.
Rickrolled during a karaoke night. A few of us had left the room to go get a newly arrived friend. Upon our return, the mic was handed to the first person who walked in the room. Surprise rickroll for all of us, most effective on the guy who had to sing it!
