There was a Sesame Street character in the 90s named Meyrl Sheep (a sheep). When some real-life magazine asked a bunch of celebrities to sum up their year in one sentence, Meryl Sheep said "I give them art, they give me grief."
I really wanted to call today's strip "I give him thwakk, he gives me sheesh." But nobody would get it. Nor should they.
Spider-Man totally deserved being pummeled after his horrible attempt at humor. I bet that's Stan Lee's sense of humor.
love that Daredevil gave Spidey another deserved kick but the 3rd panel bothers me. Firstly DD looks proportionally small and secondly the impact is seemingly being made from the back of his ankles to Peter's thighs. That couldn't possibly hurt.
