I don't understand - Kingpin says, "All that matters is that one of them dies". Doesn't he want Spider-Man to die? DD is already under his control. Ultimately doesn't he want both to die? Am I over-thinking this?
I don't know but Kingpin and his croney look like two dirtbags watching a filthy porno together. And if you look at the 2nd panel...
I think what's going on is Big K forgot he only gassed Daredevil, so he's relying on Spider-Man's heretofore-unseen murderous nature to take over for survival's sake.
