I'm sorry but that last panel is not possible - how in the world is DD able to fly through the city while carrying Spider-Man? The writer clearly doesn't subscribe to physics or gravity.
so the fight was extraneous, right? kingpin could have gassed them both and brought them in directly.
Heh, yeah. They basically drew him flying like Superman but with a string and a stick in one hand.
Weren't some guys going to shoot the winner of this fight? And what about the milk? This plot is all over the place.
By my count there have been approximately 84 strips to this story so far and it doesn't seem to be wrapping up anytime soon (unless DD is pretending to be under K's control and the moment they get to him he springs into action).
Why didn't the henchman who just showed up to gas Spidey simply kill him and DD right there? Oh right, that would have made sense.
