Wow, that's pretty damn cool. Two things strike me in particular:First, the notion of this display going up when that building was new, and how the tumbling gift boxes would have sent onlookers running for their lives.Second, what's up with the bucktoothed yeti? Is that the Saks Christmas monster? Weird to see a company that large be so loosey goosey with their branding. Maybe it's no big thing.
impressive, but i'm with octopunk on the yeti, which seems out of place and potentially terrifying for a youngster (at least, a biddy-in-training youngster).
