Wouldn't J.J.J. get life in prison for attempting to murder Peter? Why isn't law enforcement stopping this? It would appear that Spider-Man's world is lawless! Why wouldn't the old guy shut this down? Sure he would have to answer to Tony Stark but so what?

I agree though. The fact that Brody is blindly still "feeding power to the suit" is ludicrous!
