Wtf? Why did he just change into Daredevil if it's a job for Matt Murdock? They were in Murdock's office 2 panels ago!
Oh yeah? Picture this: the Missile blows up, and Daredevil says "By the way, I'm also a lawyer named Matt Murdock, and here's my plan..."
Did he need to prove he had an office or something? Show off how hot his receptionist is?
Wait, I'm confused (again). After swinging through the city to defeat a missile DD asks Spider-Man to meet up with Matt Murdock. Spider-Man arrives (as Peter) and the two immediately confirm their identities. They then suit up to swing through the city again - what was the point of the Matt Murdock meeting? DD and Spider-Man could have had the conversation about their identities after defeating the missile - why did they go home, change, and then meet up at the office? Am I over-thinking this??
In concept you're not overthinking it at all -- indeed I made the exact same point in my comment. But considering I made the exact same point in my comment, you are overthinking it, because you just could've said "yeah!"
Perhaps Murdock wanted to earn his trust by showing him he is a legit professional. If he did as Octo suggested then Peter may have been skeptical. Or maybe they both needed some time to shower and regroup. Peter spent a few hours on the back of a truck mind you.
Oh Johnny Sweatpants, always so practical!
