Zack Snyder To Direct "Justice League"


From slashfilm, t's official, Warner Bros. Pictures has greenlit a "Justice League" moviewith Zack Snyder signed onboard to direct.
Warner Bros. president of worldwide production Greg Silverman confirmed the news with The Wall Street Journal, adding the studio is moving forward quickly: "It will be a further expansion of this universe. Superman vs. Batman will lead into Justice League".
Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot are all expected to return. While no release date is set, Heat Vision adds that it could be as early as 2017 as their sources tell them that both films will be shot back-to-back.

I can't tell anymore if shooting films back-to-back is a good thing or not. I feel like it isn't with the 2nd and 3rd movies in a trilogy, because the 2nd one usually gets treated like a stepping stone and not a story unto itself (Two Towers being the notable exception).

Other than that, I really wish DC well with this but I have... doubts.
