Daily Spider-Man: Dear Mom, I finally met our boss today and he's really mean, but this is still the best internship ever! Love, Dennis.

First of all Octo, the caption is a gem!

I love how Kingpin exudes overconfidence. After all the times he's been thwarted you'd think he'd show a little humility. The question remains: what can he possibly come up with to top the missile?

You are echoing my own concerns, JSP, but given how entertained I've been by the Kingpin this week, I hope whatever they come up with bears his image somehow. Giant Kingpin robot, big battle blimp -- I don't really care.

I might be stuck on cakes here, but I look at his fancy shirt and I can't help imagine him as a giant, blue-frosted birthday cake -- the cake you have in the nightmare about your birthday really not going your way.

And again, what's with the laboratory? It's like the writers forgot what Kingpin does for a living so they grafted Lex Luthor on to him, but they know enough not to make him the actual scientist so he just goes there and yells at his employees.

Not that I'm complaining. "Do the science faster!" Love it.

if you name your child "kingpin" i'm not sure you teach him the value of humility.

octo, i too am intrigued by his outfit. is that a shirt, or a cravat? it's probably custom-made and therefore a deliberate choice. isn't that an awful lot of powder blue for such an evil guy? maybe his wife or interior designer picks his clothes for him?

Kingpin can wear whatever color or style he so pleases. Who's gonna stop him? His clothes always look very clean and pristine.

In other news I hope Sad Mustache Guy (Dennis) gets his face in at least one more panel.
