If a "muffled scream" sounds like a "fire alarm" (DD likes to remind us how awesome his hearing is) how does DD deal with actual fire alarms, etc?
If you look at the last panel of the Sunday comic and the 2nd panel in today's you'll notice that Daredevil hasn't gotten any closer to the muggers. It's like the scene in Holy Grail when Lancelot storms the castle!
