I love DC comics and I think the stories in the DC Animated Universe are some of the best superhero-related screen time one can get. I superduper want their live action movies to be good; it just doesn't look too damn likely.
The success of Guardians is wonderful for a number of reasons, but high on that list is the huge number of possible jabs at DC regarding talking raccoons and trees.
