First rule of Horrorthon is: watch horror movies. Second rule of Horrorthon is: write about it. Warn us. Tempt us. The one who watches the most movies in 31 days wins. There is no prize.

HORRORTHON COUNTDOWN!!! Day Ten! Today's challenge: SOUND OFF!
You heard me! It's Horroahthoon Toime! WoooOOOoooOOOooo! And as usual this time of year, I am PUMPED. Been reading old reviews and making weeeird lists in my head.
Which brings us to my favorite list, who's on board this year? Where y'all at? You're busy, right? (Me too.) What challenges are you facing? (Here's mine: I'll be at a Lego convention in Seattle for the first five days of October.)
It's funny I'm posting this on a Sunday, since that's usually the time of the least bloggery. On the other hand I'm posting it really late, when there's actually been a fair amount of chatter today. Ah well. We all do what we can. I'll leave this up for Monday and you people start making some NOISE.
And think about some Countdown stuff to come, things like movie recommendations and maybe something you saw this summer you'd like to practice your praising/bitching skills on.
October is coming...

Wow, it's that time of the year already? I feel like summer never happened this year and now it's almost Halloween! Hmmm, strategy for movies? I don't have an overall strategy although I would like to catch up on all the horror movies that came out over the past year. I would like to find some good foreign stuff as well. I know you all aren't fans but I'm still really digging the found footage genre. I hope everyone comes back to the blog to write some great reviews, things have been pretty quiet here lately. I'll make some noise, HORRORTHON!!!
WooooooHooooooo!!!! I am looking forward to Horrorthon this year! I am tied up with taking care of my mOm most days so my strategy is to watch as much as I can wherever I can. Expect to watch many films at the gym this year. As far as movie choices, well you know I'm always looking to discover that hidden gem no matter how many obscure films I have to watch to find it. Horrorthon!!!
YEEAAAAAHHHH, horrorTHON! I'm just hoping to be able to make the time to watch more movies this year. Things are pretty crazy right now, as I'm sure others can relate to, so anything I can do to be involved will make me happy!
yay horrorthon!
among other goals, need watch more classic horror movies i've never seen (nightmare on elm street, friday the 13th, the fly).
barriers: work life & difficulty choosing movies that mr ac and i can agree on, just like amy schumer and her beau:
