The Vision joins The Avengers: Age of Ultron

From iwatchstuff, aul Bettany has reportedly been cast as Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron, ensuring the actor a continued future in robotics voicing if not CGI-muddled Catholicism. Bettany is already known in the Marvel universe as the voice of Jarvis, Tony Stark's servile artificial intelligence system, but here he'll play a full-bodied android, a being created in the comics by fellow android and central bad guy Ultron. It's not yet clear if that will remain the case or if now Jarvis plays a larger role in character's genesis. After all, what an unexpected twist when Vision materializes after lightning strikes Stark Tower while Master and Commander is in the DVD player.

It's weird, I have a total blind spot when it comes to the Vision. I think I resent him a little bit for being the Marvel knockoff of DC's Martian Manhunter (back in the long-ago days when that was going on.)
