A rough, black & white preview clip from "Futurama: The Beast with a Billion Backs" has been released. The movie is the second DVD to be released, following "Futurama: Bender's Big Score," which hit theaters back in November.
In the new movie, the Planet Express crew must work to fix rips between their universe and another inhabited by a planet-sized, tentacle alien, which takes over Earth and uses it's ability to control Fry to command an entire religion. As a result, people are convinced to abandon Earth in order to live in a pseudo-heaven, leaving the robots of the world to inherit the planet.
"The Beast with a Billion Backs" brings the entire cast back to do the voices, in addition to Brittany Murphy, David Cross and physicist Stephen Hawking. At this point, the release date is not yet set, but we are to look forward to two more "Futurama" movies, which will all hit stores this year.
[JPX sez, I thought the first Futurama movie, Bender's Big Score, surpassed The Simpsons Movie on every level. If you haven't seen it check it out].

That clip looked great! But I have to disagree about your Simpsons Movie/Bender's Big Score assessment. The Simpsons flick made me laugh a lot more than BBS. But that BBB clip looked funnier!
I love the part where the Prof burns his face off.
