From worstpreviews, "Cloverfield" director Matt Reeves spoke to RottenTomatoes, revealing that the trailer for JJ Abrams' upcoming "Star Trek" movie will be shown in front of his own on January 18th, 2008.
"Way back, J.J. was like 'When 'Cloverfield' comes out, 'Star Trek' will be on it,'" Reeves told MTV News. "I was like 'That's a terrific idea; that's exciting'. So, I've known for a long, long, time that was their plan, and I've just recently seen bits of the teaser. I think it's amazing, and it looks pretty incredible."
Reeves continued: "I think people are going to be very excited. It's a teaser, you know, it's a teaser trailer. But still, I was like 'Wow!' Just the scope of it, the scale of it, you just look at it and it's so elegantly done."
It's no surprise that Abrams chose "Cloverfield" as the stage to debut the trailer, since he is a producer on the film and the driving force behind its successful marketing campaign.

I really want to see this movie! (Cloverfield that is) Of course, Whirlygirl, AC and I are also supposed to see "Sweeney," and at the rate I see movies this could either be a record breaking month, or a continuation of my sucky schedule!
That's some sentence, I must say.
"That's some sentence, I must say" is some sentence.
I'm amped about all of this, but this director needs to stop saying "like" so much in interviews. He sounds like Mandy Moore.
