You know what? I didn't mind that.
And I take a back seat to nobody when it comes to picking on Tim Burton. I didn't like Beetlejuice (probably for the same reasons that Raising Arizona is my least favorite Coen Bros. movie).
Everything about Beetlejuice annoyed me. He was like the character in Drop Dead Fred, just completely grating. On the other hand I love Raising Arizona.
Raising Arizona is my favorite Cohen Brothers movie.
I wanted to like this Dark Shadows thing, but the trailer lost me about a third of the way through, and then provided enough material to lose me two more times.
