Maybe it's the subtitles, but the whole thing looks weirdly amateurish and inept.
I thought the exact same thing. The sets are really cheap-looking.
Which puts it right up there with the original, in my opinion.
I wonder if this one will actually use the simulacra element, unlike the first one.
