More Mummy
From Darkhorizons, "Rick O'Connell, the Foreign Legion soldier turned action hero character which Brendan Fraser played in "The Mummy" movies, is getting a new film all his own reports Production Weekly.
Fraser is set to reprise the role in a new epic adventure that re-imagines the character in a different setting. "Smallville" creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar have penned the script.
Joe Johnston will direct the film which aims to begin shooting early 2007."
