Congrats, Octo! I'm always amazed at how lame the actual cartoons are compared to what we come up with. Great contest, AC! I regret that my entries were all erased. I didn't have copies and concluded that I was too lazy to come up with them again (the Popeye one literally took me 40 minutes because his dialogue is so complicated). I look forward to seeing what you come up with, Octo! I might suggest that you delay for a week given that JSP and Whirlygirl are on the East Coast this week and it's possible that we won't be able to give the contest the attention that it deserves. I'm just sayin'

There's no conspiracy, I assure you. JSP came into town last weekend and he's here for the week. Whirly will be here later today. They're here for Stan's wedding this weekend. The following weekend Whirly and I have another wedding to go to in VT. We should definitely think about getting together to play pool or something =)
