Cat's Trapped!

Stay safe my little beetle. I parked her across the street because of my neighbors rotten old tree.

My power is up but phone line is down. No way out!

Can't go this way either. Thanks Irene, you big bitch!

Bye bye swimming pool, found this walking the neighborhood.
A crowd of beer drinking wanderers came strolling through the neighborhood. Sadly, I was unable to get a picture of the guy with the mullet. He moved too quickly for me.

However I did catch the drunken idiot making moose calls through a traffic cone.

Poor Tony has been stranded at work in Boston since yesterday.

Damn, stay safe! I haven't had power since 9am and it doesn't look like it's coming on anytime soon. Stupid Irene, why couldn't this happen on Monday?

Everything's fine here...just lots of rain that ended in the early morning.

All the businesses are closed, so today is all about little calm groups of New Yorkers wandering around in a city that's REALLY been drenched. Extra rinse cycle! Foliage everywhere! It's beautiful.

Sorry you guys are having more serious problems with the storm.

we're fine up here too, though the cat is acting a little subdued.

My parents are still without power in Barrington. I got mine back but there are still live wires in the street and we are still blocked in.

Crap! I'm sorry to hear about everyone's weather troubles. We've been dealing with a heat wave this weekend, which I don't say to gloat because heat waves out here are our version of Don't Go Outside. But it still looks nice outside.

I bid everyone a speedy recovery of their utilities.

Still blocked in but Tony made it home safe.

Still no power. This sucks. Glad Tony is okay.
