Star Trek Turns Into Incident At Loch Ness
From cinemablend, Ok, all the desperate hunting for information about JJ Abrams’ Star Trek movie is getting a little… pathetic. In fact, it’s turning into the hunt for Bigfoot, complete with blurry, questionable pictures. The guys at JFX Online are basically hanging out as close to the Paramount lot where Trek is being filmed with a zoom lens and snapping anything that walks across their field of vision. Score one for creepy stalkers everywhere.
So their latest bit of stalking resulted in photos which they claim are the first ever shots of Chris Pine in uniform as the new Captain Kirk, oh and an Orion Slave Girl for extra measure. Except even they aren’t exactly sure that’s what they snapped so I’m not sure what we’re supposed to think about it. The pics are blurry, and made even more impossible to make out by JFX’s insistence on obscuring half the picture with their ever oppressive watermark. I get the need to watermark your photos guys, but if your watermark covers up the entire picture, then it sort of defeats the purpose of posting the pics in the first place.
If this is actually Kirk, it looks like they’re going with an all red uniform. Actually, that looks more like a cadet uniform than something you’d see on a bridge officer, which I guess could mean he’s shooting some sort of Starfleet Academy sequence. Assuming that’s even what these smudgy pics are of.
So if you want to see some Bigfoot-like photos which may or may not be of Chris Pine in uniform as Captain Kirk covered by a giant JFX logo, well click over there

I agree with "ever oppressive watermark" but I don't agree with "Orion slave girl." Isn't she supposed to be green? I think that's a PA.
