one of the reasons that studios brings their advance footage of upcoming shows to CCI is that they have been good at keeping this within the walls of the convention. Now you are at risk of breaking that trust by posting this video. you are worse than those guys who tapes a movie & sells them on the street. I hope Fox sues your ass off.
Ethics? I didn't go to this convention and tape this footage, some fat nerd did. Also, I'm not selling it. In fact, this is just a private blog for me and my friends, why the hell are you even snooping around here? I bet you watched the footage didn't you? Isn't that the pot calling the kettle black? If you want to bitch to someone, and it sounds like you do, bitch to Harry Knowles at Aintitcoolnews.com, where I obtained the footage from. He proudly posted it on his site this morning. Either that or go to YouTube where he got it from. also, you never answered my question. Just how does my post ruin the movie industry, I wasn't quite clear on that. By the way, if you're looking for any movies, I've got tons of bootlegs that I'm willing to sell.
Video no longer available! Man, I just got my damn computer the plug-in it needs and Anonymous went and ruined it. Damn you Anonymous! How come you aren't just telling us about lame-ass blogs like you usually do?
I don't need to see the clip b/c I was at that panel. nice & legal. If people keep stealing stuff from studios they won't make money & will close down. how will that help you & everyone else? You may think you're sticking it to the man, but the man incudes everyone who works at the studios, including the guy who sweeps the floors. Also, if this keeps up, ComicCon my not get any more exclusives from the studios & that will spoil it for everyone.
"I don't need to see the clip b/c I was at that panel. nice & legal."
Gosh, we're all real impressed down here. Are you worried that we're diminishing the effort you exerted squeezing into your Tron costume?
"If people keep stealing stuff from studios they won't make money & will close down."
That is the biggest bunch of crap. Record company execs have been wringing their hands since the 70's because people could make cassette copies of their albums and those companies are still here. You're parroting a sad, romantic notion that the "guy that sweeps the floors" will get a personal visit from a dishevled, Perry White-like studio exec who, hat in hand, regretfully has to let the old guy go because of all those pesky pirates. What really happens is the broom guy gets his pink slip because the studio spent nine figures on some Michael Bay disaster.
"Also, if this keeps up, ComicCon my not get any more exclusives from the studios."
That scenario is more possible since it's not grounded in this "woe to the beleaguered studio" fairy tale reality you live in. What's a lot more likely is that the big boys lean on the right people and the clip gets pulled. And you know I'm right because...that's what happened!
The Information Society is here and this is how it works. I'm sure the studio would be pleased to hear you whining on their behalf, but they probably don't give a rat's ass. Take your santimonious Romper Room logic somewhere else.

"you are worse than those guys who tapes a movie & sells them on the street." Really? Why?
If you had any ethics, you would not even ask that question, must less give a reason for me to post.
