Wicker Man with the oold music

Well I was sick of looking at a picture of a guy in a Staples uniform every time I checked this blog so I had to post something! Part of the magic of the original Wicker Man was the peculiar music that gave you that uneasy feeling. This is a pretty good effort, mixing the original soundtrack with the trailer for the remake.

Blame the unchanging blog on Octopunk, who had 4 days to post something new - boo Octopunk!

Yeah, the music is essential to the Wicker Man and I can't imagine the new film will be able to capture that level of creepiness.

Wow, that's the first time I've ever seen that trailer and I must say it looks terrific! I love thatparticular piece of music used and I hope it's in the film. I'm getting a good feeling about this one.

I have a life, you know.

I also put a loooong, thought-out comment on the Mego Batman post over on JJP.

Gah! You know that weird moment when a song you like turns out to be a cover song? Just had it. The Sneaker Pimps covered "How Do" on their first album. Whoah.

Okay, take a look at the preview at about 1:44 or so, and see the cut of Nick trotting around the corner of a house. It's so not an action shot! He's just loping along like he's late for the appetizers.
