The wild things are here

From iwatchstuff, It's not much of a look, but this is as much as we've got towards discovering what great things Spike Jonze is doing with his adaptation of Where the Wild Things Are. Even this little picture fills me with such childhood wonderment that I forget that the book was obvious pedophile propaganda, encouraging young boys to run away with large, hairy men.

Aw geez, I dunno. I kind of wish this was a short film instead of a feature. Because you just know there's going to be an agonized "Beee gooood" type scene in which Max realizes he needs to return to his world after all. I'm seeing some tiny tears in the middle of a big rubber face. Or worse, CG.
