From worstpreviews, A brand new trailer for Sarah Michelle Gellar's "Possession" film has been released. The story revolves around a woman (Gellar), whose husband and brother-in-law both fall into a coma after a major car accident. When the husband's brother wakes up, he is convinced that he is the woman's husband. Confused, the woman tries to understand if there is perhaps a greater conspiracy at play.
In the trailer, we are introduced to a loving husband and a no-good brother-in-law. After the brother wakes up from his coma, Gellar slowly finds herself believing that the he is her husband, due to the amount of personal information he knows. As a result, she begins to pick up the pieces of her life, only with a different man.
"Possession," like with most thrillers lately, is based on material from Asia, in this case a 2002 South Korean film titled "Jungdok." It is scheduled to hit theaters on February 22nd, 2008.

My guess is the marriage was a scam from the start, and her husband fed his brother all of the private info about her as part of it. The car accident wasn't planned but the brother decides to roll with it.
