Hmm. I started out intrigued and then became annoyed. Too many "gotcha" scares, but without any really good monster shots.
It's weird that they went with prequel instead of remake. We know exactly how this ends, unless they change it, which would be stupid and annoying.
And there's the silly detail that everybody in this movie is speaking English and the Norwegians from the first movie didn't, which made a huge difference. I hope for their sake it's a "we're pretending we're speaking Norwegian" thing.
"They found someTHING" is pretty lame, too.
