Monster Attack on RI Beach

This is some serious old school silliness.

This is hilarious for so many reasons! Here are a few,

1. The newswoman does everything she can not to roll her eyes at the ridiculous story.
2. The woman who was “attacked” by the monster is histrionic and sounds like “Maryann from Brooklyn”
3. When the woman is recounting her story a little girl in the background has the funniest expression on her face.
4. The guy who rescued her is the prototypical example of a dumb Rhode Islander with his terrible accent.
5. I love it when the guys says, “I ran in the water and grabbed her by the ass, er, I mean bottom…”

So much to enjoy here.

6. The "monster" was attracted to blood from Joey Maylo's leg..." I love how Joey's leg is still bleeding and I love that his name is "Joey" and not Joesph or Joe. Names that end in "Y" amuse me; Johnny, Billy, etc. Also, how the hell did Joey get that gash?

This is rich I tell you!

This is great, I love the woman's description of the face. Also when she feels it necessary to provide us a sample of how she yelled for her boyfriend. Yes she does sound like Maryann from Brooklyn.

"Sean Daly says the woman was 'swimming mindlessly'..."

Love it

Yeah, I loved that "swimming mindlessly" too. The whole thing is so perfect.

I'm seething with anger and curiosity because I can't watch this at work, or the Bilbo Baggins clip, or play Adobo. This day needs to END.

I watched it 3 times and couldn't stop laughing! It made me want to draw a rendition based on their description.
