M. Night Shyamalan is still a hack
Aintitcoolnews has the first review of Shyamalan's next flick, Lady in the Water. I'm not a fan of Shyamalan's work and I've been disappointed in everyting he's done since Sixth Sense, which, in my opinion, doesn't hold up upon repeat viewings.

Blarg! This sounds awful! Narf? What the fuck?
What a load of hooey. There were elements of The Village I found interesting (see 'thon '06, ha ha!), but this turkey sounds more like Signs. Certain story elements of that movie are arranged like child's blocks, with no thought for what makes sense.
Ron Howard's daughter needs to find another director to use her.
Oh, and let's notice that that image is a ripoff of this Shallow Ground pic, shall we?
