Avatar tidbit


From darkhorizons, 'James Cameron has confirmed via Aint it Cool News that Wes Studi, Sigourney Weaver, Peter Mensah, Joel David Moore, C.C.H. Pounder and Laz Alonso have joined the cast of his 3D CG feature "Avatar".Cameron now begins a stage of the production called Pre-Capture with stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana at the WETA studios in New Zealand. The film gets released Summer 2009."Avatar" follows a wounded ex-marine who is thrust unwillingly into an effort to settle and exploit an exotic planet rich in bio-diversity. He eventually crosses over to lead the indigenous race in a battle for survival.Meanwhile he also talked with Premiere Magazine and weighed in on the whole Peter Jackson suing New Line lawsuit. He says Fox, whom he's always worked with, "has always been very transparent financially. It's almost automatic that you do an audit."'

Cameron, sci-fi, exotic planet rich in bio-diversity, WETA...all of this sounds good. But what really excites me is this news that Fox does regular audits. Load off my mind.
