Do you think the people who thought up Renegade knew they were creating a property destined to be a yardstick for stupidity? Or is that like asking if the Fonz had a moment of blinding insight when he hit the apex of his arc over the shark, seeing in a flash his imminent downward motion describing not only the falling quality of Happy Days, but the failure of countless good TV ideas in the future – in a sense, all of our happy days? Or did I just go off the deep end with that one?
The sad thing is “Skinwalkers,” which I’m guessing refers to werewolves in human guise, seems like it would serve as a compelling title. But it doesn’t.
And why did Fonzie think that the public restroom would be a "cool" place to hold meetings? Who wants to discuss plans over the aroma of feces?
1. But do they have actual toilets in sitcom restrooms?
