(Concord, CA) "To hell with the real world!" declared Johnny Sweatpants early Thursday morning as he called in sick, donned a bathing suit and headed off to Six Flags Water World. He decided to spend his day there after being enticed by such exciting rides as the Tornado (pictured at the bottom), the Big Kahuna and the Honolulu Half Pipe. While he certainly feels "somewhat sorry" that his friends are forced to waste their day indoors, he believes he will have enough fun to cover everyone. In Concord today, the temperature will easily eclipse 100 degrees but it's not oppressive as there is no humidity in California. (No mosquitos here either but that's a different story.)
Pictured below: Johnny Sweatpants boasts a brand new Archie Double Digest and his trusty Gene Simmons rubber ducky; both representing the fun-loving mood of the day.

Kudos on the Digest though, of course I have the same one.

Double jerk. Apparently JPX and I are the only ones slaving away at work today...
Except I've been spending most of my morning commenting on this blog.
Hey, there's a worky aspect to my day! Or there would be, if I had some, like, secret job making TVs and ovens out of balsa wood.
Sorry, I'm clearly delerious.
That's okay, dcd, you and I will sneak off to Six Flaggs one of these days and we'll dominate the blog with pictures.
Awesome! I love Six Flaggs. But I miss Rocky Point!
Don't be tryin to fool us with that "work" thing Octo, I am sure you are enjoying it too much.
One more thing, what is this about no mosquitos?
Yeah, Rocky Point was cool in its day! They just knocked it down the other day believe it or not.
I know! Saw that. At least the carousel from Crescent Park is still around.
