Thundercats to be CG

From ifitsmovies, Earlier this week there were reports that a live-action, big-screen adaptation of the 80s TV cartoon, THUNDERCATS, was coming soon. Well, now The LATimes is reporting that most of that information is correct.

Yes, there is big-screen adaptation coming. But a spokesperson from Warner Bros. revealed that the film was going to be computer animated. Good job to everyone that complained because the studio has obviously heard you. Too bad they don’t listen when we complain about Uwe Boll or Paul W.S. Anderson directing.

THUNDERCATS is being penned by newcomer Paul Sopocy.

I guess that's slightly good news.

I remember having a good time watching Transformers and Thundercats in the afternoon with my sister, but I was too old to get really into either of them (i.e. I didn't get any of the toys). So I feel a bit detached from these franchises. I'd rather they make a Space Ghost or Herculoids movie.

I don't think I was ever too into Transformers - hesitating to admit this with this crowd.
I shamefully admit to kind of liking Thundercats.
