While I felt that the story was a bit padded, and the characters were generally unlikable, I think The Ruins will make a terrific little horror film. It's better not to know a thing about it.

I caught Doomsday over the weekend, and I'll review it one of these days.
I want to see this, but AC said the book was really good. So I'd much rather read the book first, even if it means not enjoying the movie as much.
fyi jpx didn't like the book as much as i did. i will be interested in your opinion once you read it, dcd!
