True! Where's I Love Lucy, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Mary Tyler Moore, the Honeymooners, for example? Even if you don't like those shows they're certainly considered "classics" in most circles.

I wonder how much of this is down to availability. It's a British magazine's list--when did transatlantic distribution of tv shows start? The satellite era?
