Ace Ventura 3, why do I want to smash this kid?

From worstpreviews, According to Moviehole, Josh Flitter has signed to star in the third "Ace Ventura" movie. If you never heard of Flitter, he is twelve years old and has recently starred in "License to Wed" and "Nancy Drew."In the new film, he will star as the son of the eccentric detective, originally played by Jim Carrey, who steps into his father's shoes to take over the family business. In addition, the film also has a director now, David Mickey Evans (The Sandlot). Evans spoke with the site about why he chose to do a third installment of "Ace Ventura." "Well, basically my kids run my career," he said. "After the 'Final Season' got picked up by Sony/Yari for theatrical release, I had a bunch of offers and scripts on my desk. I asked my 9, 11, and 15 year olds what they wanted me to do. And they said, 'Dad, you're doing Ace Ventura 3!.'"I don't know if the fact that the film shoots in Orlando (Disney World, Universal Orlando) had anything to with their marching orders, but I suspect it did," added Evans. "Nonetheless, the challenge of trying to meet the expectation of a sequel to one of the funniest movies in the last 30 years appealed to me."

The jacket and tie doesn't do anything to help his cause either. There are few things in life that I'm certain of but I can tell without a shadow of a doubt that this kid is going to piss me off for many years to come.

I see him in a bunch of annoying kid roles and then he'll lose weight and star in some awful sitcom before shedding pounds and returning to the big screen as a teen heartthrob.

Little punk.

Ick. This whole piece of news about Ace 3 is irritating. Kid Detective, my kids made me direct it, filmed at Disney World...ick, ick, ick. Too cutesy-poo.
