From worstpreviews, AICN posted an article ranting about how some local news journalist stole their "Cloverfield" story and marked it as exclusive, but in the process also mentioned a bit of the plot. If you have been living in a cave and still have no idea what "Cloverfield" is, check out the trailer that was played in front of "Transformers."Apparently, the story begins at the end. "The film starts with a rescue crew cleaning up after the entire incident, and one of them finds a camera. They rewind the tape, press play... and the playback is the movie that unfolds."
In addition, with Comic-Con coming up later this month, it has been rumored that Paramount will finally reveal the actual title of the film, so we can stop calling it "Cloverfield." Stay tuned.Click here to read more about "Cloverfield."

Man! I love that trailer. Just love it. I'd rather it not be all hand-held, but whatever. It looks far too groovy to complain about it.
I looked into this thing a little bit as there's all that viral web malarky to check out. I've been meaning to post my findings, but the main thing to say is that it's not an H.P. Lovecraft/Cthulhu thing and that I don't recommend bothering with the website.
But check out that trailer!
Holy Shit! I hadn't watched the trailer before.
Holy Shit!
