Upon hearing about the grand debut of the greatest promotion in movie history, I hopped into my near-death '94 Saturn and drove no less than 90 MPH into NYC...all for the opportunity to drink a real, live Kwik-E-Mart Squishee.That's right -- eleven 7-Eleven stores from across the nation have done the unthinkable. In celebration of The Simpsons Movie, they've taken down all 7-Eleven branding, brought in a shitload of Simpsons character standees, frosted the donuts pink and totally transformed 'em into Kwik-E-Marts!

Lauren's going to Mountain View on Monday for work and she promised to stock up on Krusty-O's and Buzz Cola. I'm terrified that the place will be picked clean though. I'm sure there's a fat guy with a shopping cart in there as I type this...
Julie said they were one-per-customering at the one in Burbank. So that fat guy will have to make several trips to his car, and you know he'll give up after just a couple. Because he's fat.

I found out the Burbank QEM is THE one to go to, because the Simpsons writers all live around there and autographed the walls. But I didn't know to look for that on my first visit. Maybe I'll go get a Squishee tomorrow.
