Backpack Laser Cleaner

From geekology, Clean Laser Systems of Germany has announced the release of the "first real fully mobile cleaning laser unit in the world. Available in electric versions or rechargeable battery powered, the laser unit consists of an air cooled "state of the art" diode pumped laser with an excellent laser beam quality and an ultra small focus."

In layman's terms what they have done here is "invented" the backpacks from Ghostbusters. I had one of these when I was ten, it just looked a lot more like my mom's canister vacuum, and if you want to get technical, there was no laser involved - there was, however, a stair cleaning attachment.

Always good advice.

Um, what the hell is a laser cleaner? Does is clean lasers or, as it seems to be saying, use a laser to clean? Since when is that a thing? It sounds like these Germans just stuck the word "laser" in there like the writers of 50's sci-fi movies would stick the word "space" or "astro" on anything.

"Corporal, check the astro scope!"

"Space rocks, captain! Space rocks!"

do we use lasers to clean anything other than teeth. is that what the guy in the picture is cleaning?

"oop, somebody left their teeth down here in this construction site. christ, these things are filthy! luckily..."
