SAW IV clip

Here is the Comic-Con "Saw 4" clip that we've been hearing so much about. Apparently, Lionsgate was going to show the first 5 minutes of the film, as they do every year, but Comic-Con rejected it for reasons that such violent footage cannot be shown to a general audience. The filmmakers had to show something, so they went with some footage of two men caught in the middle of one of Jigsaw's traps.

In the clip, we see two unsuspecting people in a room, with chains attached to their necks. Since one person has his mouth sewn shut and the other has his eyes, the two cannot communicate and as a result begin to panic. In the middle of the room is a machine that keeps pulling on the chains, causing more confusion.

This is the first glimpse of "Saw 4" that anyone has seen, and while it is as bloody as always, I still found it to be extremely boring. I'm a huge fan of the first "Saw" film, but since director Darren Lynn Bousman took over, it has been nothing but violent nonsense. The new installment seems to be no different, since the MPAA just gave the film an NC-17 rating. "Saw 4" hits theaters on October 26th.
