From cinemablend, If you don’t already know much about the plot for The Orphanage, the newly released teaser trailer isn’t going to help you very much. Pretty much the trailer just lets you know the movie is going to be hella-scary, and it comes from Guillermo del Toro. Frankly, it looks like it could be another hit for the Pan’s Labyrinth director because, while it leaves me knowing almost nothing about the movie, for some reason the trailer is really compelling and I want to see just what this is all about.
Unfortunately, del Toro is just the producer behind the picture, responsible for bringing the movie to the United States. Still, much like Quentin Tarantino has imported some excellent Asian films, I trust del Toro’s tastes.
Here’s a look at the trailer, http://www.cinemablend.com/new/See-Inside-The-Orphanage-5995.html

That is a bit cryptic. More than that, if you check the plot description, it doesn't seem to jibe with the trailer. Because the trailer indicates that everyone else vanishes and the description says her son and some parapsychologists show up.
Pretty much the same thing that happens in Poltergeist. As Eddy Murphy put it "not only do they not leave, they invite more white people over to get spooked out."
